Behind the Wool: Honoring the Integrity of Montana Sheep Ranchers through Photography and Fiber Art


Opening reception for a collaborative project by Montana artists, Meghan Purcell (Fiber Art) and Lauren Lipscomb (Photography).  Through this multi-media exhibit, the artists provide a glimpse into the responsible farming practices of six Montana sheep farms, the economic and political landscape of Sheep Ranching in Montana, and an iconic way of life lead by integrity and hard work.  

Held in The Weaver Room at The Emerson Center for Art and Culture in Bozeman, MT.  

Exhibit runs from May 12 - June 30, 2017.
